actual kitchen!

not sure how it’s going to go with the dark cabinets and the brick back splash.

any color suggestions?

repost if necessary to answer puhleeeeeeeeze

I think the white will look great with the dark cabinets and brick but I don’t really know about the soft green trim?

Now I’m thinking of a darker tan in the kitchen, and dark brown trim around the window and door (and thus maintaining the dark brown trim on the lower level in every room except the hallway…which is light grey with a darker grey trim). That way my fuschia kitchen stuff that I have now wont look so out of place.

House 1

I’m in love with the house on Powers street. It’s got gorgeous old molding and hardwood floors through out, bow front windows, a brick back splash in the kitchen, a sky light above the stair case, and awesome lighting from the 30s in the dining room.

We looked at it with the next door neighboor who is showing it.

Then about an hour later we met up with my dad and looked at it again.

He basically told me what Danny told me…

We have a lot of time. We need to look at lots of other places. Stop getting ahead of yourself.

The guy who is showing the house (who lives next door and rules) really liked us. He said he got a great vibe from us. We seemed like the perfect fit. He is going to talk with the owners to see if we can meet in the middle and compromise on the move in date, and make it more affordable for us.

I do not see a problem!

Of course, I may feel the same way about one of the houses we look at tomorrow.

But here’s the thing. This house has everything I’m looking for…the location is perfect, the inside has the older feel I’m looking for, the price is perfect.

All the other houses have at least one thing wrong with them: too expensive, busy street, too updated….etc.

pish posh.
